Black Portuguese Millipedes: Pest Control By the time of first rains every year, particularly here in Perth, we have a lot of customers contact us telling us they're being attacked by Portuguese Millipedes, there yards are over run with Portuguese Millipedes and their walls that used to be white are black with millipedes! The answer is Ficam W which is a powder treatment from
Bayer which is mixed with water and sprayed out (as per the label
instructions) leaving a residual barrier which when the millipedes crawl
over they will absorb the chemical and it will knock them out. The
barrier should dissipate after a few days but it is prudent to mention
that we recommend this chemical be sprayed as per the label
