How to Kill Winter Grass

Use David Grays Winter Grass Killer

Winter Grass is a grass that goes dormant during the hotter months and re-emerges generally at first rains of late summer and early winter.

The Trick is to have the active chemical (Propyzamide) in the soil around at the first rains.  The chemical in this case stunts the growth of the emerging shoot (from the seed) in it's juvenile state. 

David Grays Winter Grass Killer is generally enough for two applications on to an average size garden.

A great tip for killing winter grass is to get it before it comes up - that is spray the chemical where you saw the winter grass last winter and this will stop the grass in that particular area from re-emerging.
