TRELONA TERMITE BAIT

BASF is pleased advise that Trelona ATBS has been granted a Label extension for an ‘Active Monitoring System’ (AMS) which is the first of its kind in Australia.

This unique system is replacing the traditional monitoring system which was using a timber Termite Monitoring Base (TMB) + cellulose cartridge, for an even more performant Active Monitoring solution using the Termite Monitoring Base (TMB) + Trelona Bait Cartridge (TBC).

AMS allows termites to easily find the TMB, building numbers when feeding on the timber and travelling upwards into the TBC. When termites move to feed on the compressed TBC, they will exploit this food source and start the process of taking the bait matrix back to feed the colony. This provides pest management professionals with a maximum 12 week intervals inspection period, and with the confidence that AMS will have termites feeding on a bait during the monitoring phase of the system, with no missed baiting opportunities.

Trelona 'Active on Application' System (AoA) provides a larger quantity of bait around the structure is still the ultimate system, ensuring full protection of the structure and providing pest management professionals with more flexibility, allowing inspection periods to be extended to 6 months, providing customers greater peace of mind.
